What makes a guide here different
Two things, both dull and both the entire point.
Every figure has a first-party source. If a guarantee threshold is quoted, it came from that brand’s own UK terms — not from another website that quoted a website. Where a widely-repeated figure could not be traced to a first-party page, we say so and leave it out rather than passing it on.
Every section carries the date it was checked. Brand terms move with promotions, and a reference page that silently goes stale is worse than none at all. The dates let you judge for yourself whether something needs re-checking before you rely on it.
None of this is glamorous. It is, however, the reason these pages can say things the brands cannot — because comparing eight companies’ terms side by side is exactly what no company selling one of them is able to publish.
